Dave Sorenson was a standout basketball player at Ohio State prior to joining the Cleveland Cavaliers in 1970-71. He scored a career high 34 points as a rookie on December 19, 1970, making 15 of 20 shots in a game against Buffalo. He also played in Europe right after college, the summer of 1971.
